Get That Digger Started
The old Utility room got torn down at the back of the house with the help of our little digger, and once the rubble was cleared the electrics made safe, outside water pipes moved and the hole in the back of the house boarded up, phew there always seems a list of jobs to accomplish first before you can really get started. We could finaly start up the digger and get digging, it was tough going, the area is rock bed and shale Work was painfully slow as Martin battled against rock bed, trying to get digging done between farm chores and work Of course there were teething problems , catching the electric cable and shorting out the power to the house, then the digger bucket severing the sewerage pipe Here is a short video showing the progress of the footings Now the footings are complete, next stage is getting building control out to inspect and pass then we can order the concrete and get moving.
